Training Programs


Training programs can be tailored to suit any sport where running is required. Below is a basic overview of the types of training we offer:

Beginner

  • Introduction to running. Assist with fitness level in such a way as to minimize injury.
  • Build a base that allows you to move forward to achieve your goals e.g. compete in a fun run.
  • 4 week training schedule emailed to you.
  • PB and goal setting techniques.

Intermediate

  • Refine Training methods and fitness levels. Work on core strengthening
  • 4 weeks training schedule emailed to you.
  • Email and phone contact during the program.
  • Assistance with setting up race plans to compete in state based races.
  • Access to training in group sessions.
  • PB and goal setting techniques.
  • Introduction to Club based running.

Advanced/Elite

  • Training program to allow you to compete at National/International level.
  • Development of strengths and iron out weakness points.
  • Refine training and fitness levels.
  • Access to elite group sessions (smaller more personal feedback sessions).
  • Race plan.
  • Unlimited email assistance.
  • PB and goal setting techniques.
  • Access to Medical and Nutritional Services.
  • Injury Prevention.
  • Access to DTR Sports Management (additional fee applies).
