Hi. I'm John Meagher, and welcome to my site. I am a running coach, committed to helping you achieve your personal best. Have a look around the site to see what I do, what I can help with, then feel free to contact me and tell me what it is I can do for you.

My History

I have been actively involved in coaching for the past 20 years and have coached a variety of athletes from those who enjoy running for personal fitness to those who compete at an elite level.

Having been a runner and tri athlete at a National level, I understand the commitment, motivation and determination required to achieve your "Personal Best".

My running achievements include a 2.16 in the Melbourne Marathon, 29.30 for a 10km, 14.08 for 5km, 2nd in the Melbourne Marathon at age 40 and 2nd in the World Duathalon Championships. I have travelled overseas with my running and have a vast knowledge of what it takes to achieve "Personal Best" results.

I have also served as a board Member of Athletics Victoria, I am a life Member of Box Hill Athletics Club and am the Cross Country Coach for Marcellin College where I have successfully coached two teams to the All Schools World Cross Country Championships and been undefeated for the past 10 years at the A.G.S.

My Philosophy

I believe that everyone can achieve their "Personal Best" given the right training methods and I have been very successful in achieving this. I currently coach athletes at a beginner level right through to elite athletes (Please see my testimonials page).

I have a true passion for running and enjoy sharing my knowledge with athletes of all abilities so that they to can share in a "Personal Best" experience.
